A black bearskin rug adorns the polished oak floor of this small room. A small firepit, a silver-banded steel shield etched with the crest of the Paladin Guild hanging above it, rests between a rosewood canopy bed and a lustrous oak table pushed up against the polished oak walls. The room holds a lingering scent of grilling steak. You also see a buffed black oak weapon rack, a sturdy carved black oak armor stand, a dark-stained oak wardrobe with a large glass bottle on it, a sapphire-blue plush velvet armchair that is facing the table, a sapphire-blue plush velvet armchair that is facing the firepit and a sturdy black hunting dog.

Sitting on the armchair near the fireplace, you see a human wearing a set of superbly crafted plate armor with an ornate silver-edge. Noticing you, he stirs from his thoughts and begins to speak...
"Greetings, I am Chestham Burger, Human Paladin of Zoluren. I was born on the 40th day of the 9th month of Dolefaren the Brigantine (ship) in the year of the Emerald Dolphin, 341, to a hard-working, yet simple family. Inspired by the ethics and up-bringing of my parents, I strove for something more than just a common life. At the age of 17, while wandering through the streets of the place I call home, the Crossing. I came across a building that radiated an aura of power. Drawn inside, I was greeted by Sir Beren, who with the patience of a father to a child, answered my inquiries, and told me about being a Paladin. Asking if I had what it took to become a Paladin, he smiled quietly and welcomed me into the Guild."
